Daeodon is a genus of Entelodont that lived in North America during the middle Oligocene and early Miocene. Daeodon is represented by the species D. shoshonensis in Prehistoric Kingdom.
It is unknown when Daeodon may return to the roster of Prehistoric Kingdom.

Like other entelodonts, Daeodon had long and slender legs, a big skull with cheekbone flanges and a bison-like spinal hump.

Paleontology[]
All entelodonts are believed to be omnivorous because of their teeth, they were also originally believed to be closely related to pigs which gave them the nickname of "Hell Pig", however they were later found out to be closer related to hippos and whales.
Daeodon was named in 1878 by American paleontologist and comparative anatomist and Edward Drinker Cope and its name means "dreadful teeth" or "hostile teeth".
