Gallimimus bullatus is a large ornithomimid theropod that lived in what is now Mongolia during the Late Cretaceous.
According to the messages from developer Mau on the game's discord server, Gallimimus is scheduled to be coming in Update 15. This was further proven by a post on Blue Meridian's Patreon[1].
In-Game[]
Description[]
Gallimimus is the largest known member of the family Ornithomimidae, though it is much smaller than its bizarre relative Deinocheirus, which coexisted with it in then Nemegt Formation. Unlike Deinocheirus, Gallimimus retains the stereotypical "Ostrich Mimic" body plan that its family is most well known for, with powerful legs adapted for blazing speed and a small head perched atop a long neck.
One of Gallimimus's skins bears brown feathering with yellow skin on its face, though the rest of the animal's body and skins have yet to be revealed.
Management[]
To be announced.

Paleontology[]
Gallimimus was first discovered by a joint Polish-Mongolian expedition to Mongolia in the 1960's. Its name translates to "Chicken Mimic".
Paleoecology[]
Gallimimus lived in the seasonally wet Nemegt formation alongside a multitude of other animals including Tarbosaurus, Deinocheirus, Therizinosaurus, Prenocephale, Mononykus, Alioramus, a number oviraptorosaurs, dromeosaurs and troodontids, and many more. The immense speed of Gallimimus would likely have been its main defense against the local tyrannosaurs and other theropods, though if cornered it is likely that the same leg muscles that powered its remarkable running could have produced powerful kicks to dissuade more manageably sized predators such as smaller tyrannosaurs and dromeosaurs.
Ornithomimids bear strong adaptations to running in their feet, including a solid configuration of the metatarsal bones into an arctometatarsal arrangement in which the two outer metatarsals pinch inwards on the inner metatarsal in order to minimize energy loss from the bones of the metatarsals moving while running, making the animal more energy efficient. This feature has also convergently evolved in other running adapted theropods including troodontids, smaller tyrannosaurids and caenagnathid oviraptorosaurs.
Gallimimus is thought to have most likely been herbivorous, or perhaps partially omnivorous like modern ostriches. Peculiar lamellae found on the animal's beak have been compared to those seen on the bills of filter-feeding waterfowl like ducks, geese and swans, and has been suggested to fill a similar function in Gallimimus. If this is truly what these structures were used for, this would make Gallimimus the largest known terrestrial filter-feeder, though others have suggested that the structures may have instead simply been used to sheer plants.
Based on fossils from the related Ornithomimus, it is known that ornithomimids were feathered much like other coelurosaurs. Feather shafts on the arm bones of one Ornithomimus specimen may point to these animals having enlarged wing-like structures on their arms, though these would not be as well developed as those found in more derived coelurosaurs such as the pennaraptorans.
