Nigel Marven (born 27 November 1960) is a British wildlife TV presenter, actor, television producer, author and birdwatcher. He is known for his unorthodox, spontaneous, and daring style of presenting wildlife documentaries as well as for including factual knowledge and information in the proceedings. This has led some people to compare him to others, such as Steve Irwin.

In Prehistoric Kingdom[]
Nigel Marven's role in Prehistoric Kingdom remained secret until he appeared in the Official Early Access Announcement Trailer as a narrator, referencing a few of his other works that he has appeared in as well as his personal life. Afterwards, he also lent his voice to the Early Access Launch Trailer.
In-game, Nigel plays a fictional version of himself in an alternate reality where genetic technology has revived creatures of the distant past. He acts as a guide and mentor to the player. In the tutorial campaign, he introduces the game's mechanics. Whenever the player is viewing an animal, he may chime in to provide observations or interesting facts about it. Lastly, when things are going less than swimmingly in Challenge mode, Nigel will provide advice.
