Biomes are a designation for different groups of foliage by climate that certain animals prefer. Animals can have multiple preferred Biomes.
For each biome the player starts out with a selection of modern plants. Paleobotany plants can be researched and added to enclosures for an additional enrichment bonus.
Currently the following biomes are available in Prehistoric Kingdom:
