Description[]
An expansive biome, owing to the wide variation of settings that fit under the "tropical" description, tropical plant life is often defined by a large diversity in size and form. Often associated with high humidity, tropical plants thrive in hot and wet environments with large amounts of rain, leading to the creation of the jungles and rainforests that make up the biome. Owing to the warm climate of the Mesozoic, tropical environments were some of the most commonly found locales, with notable hotspots being featured on almost every continent. With plants hailing from all across the world, such as the Australian Scaevola or African Kapok, the Tropical biome is truly cosmopolitan and bound to satisfy even the most picky of animals.
Plants such as the titanic Kapok, familiar Banana Tree, and iconic Coconut Palm are found in this biome.
