Yutyrannus is a large carnivorous theropod that lived in Early Cretaceous Asia. It has one species: Y. huali.
It is unknown when or if Yutyrannus will return to the roster of Prehistoric Kingdom.

Description[]
Yutyrannus is a large feathered tyrannosauroid and the largest dinosaur with direct evidence of feathers. Compared to the later tyrannosaurids like Tyrannosaurus, it has a narrow skull, a more lightweight body and three clawed fingers on each hand instead of two. It also possesses a high midline crest on top of its snout.

Paleontology[]
Yutyrannus was named in 2012 by the Chinese paleontologist Xu Xing, and its name means "feathered tyrant".
